67-Year-Old Woman Killed In Cheatham Co. Collision
ASHLAND CITY, Tenn. – A 67-year-old Cheatham County woman was killed Sunday in a single-vehicle collision in Ashland City.
Officials with the Tennessee Highway Patrol said the wreck happened just before 4 p.m. on Bearwallow Road.
The victim was identified as Geraldean Ross, of Ashland City.
Troopers said Ross was driving a Jeep Grand Cherokee along Bearwallow Road when she crossed over the center line in a slight curve and over-corrected her steering. The Jeep exited the roadway and overturned before finally coming to rest on its top.
Ross died at the scene. Investigators said Ross was wearing her seatbelt.
