2 Shot After Graduation Party In Clarksville
CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – Two people were shot early Saturday morning after leaving a graduation party in Clarksville.
Officials with the Clarksville Police Department said the shooting happened just after midnight on Vanleer Street.
Nicholas Clower, age 30, and 27-year-old Deonta Garner were walking to their vehicles when they were approached by three males in a lightly-colored car.
Police said shots were fired, striking Garner in the torso. Clower sustained a gunshot wound to his leg.
Garner was airlifted to Vanderbilt University Medical Center, where he underwent surgery and was said to be in stable condition. Clower was taken to Skyline Medical, where he was treated and later discharged.
Investigators have not yet identified the suspects.
