Deb Faulkner To Be New Franklin Deputy Police Chief
FRANKLIN, Tenn. – The Franklin police department will swear in state Inspector General Deb Faulkner as the next deputy chief on June 10.
Faulkner, a Franklin resident, was selected over more than 70 applicants.
Faulkner was the state’s first inspector general, and prior to that, held multiple positions in the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department including Deputy Chief of Police.
Franklin Police Chief David Rahinsky said her extensive law enforcement background set her apart from the other candidates.
“As an agency, we couldn’t be happier,” said Chief Rahinsky. “She’ll be able to hit the ground running. The relationships she’s developed over four decades of public service will serve her and the agency well.”
Franklin’s Deputy Chief position has been vacant since Bruce Bateman retired in December.
