Franklin Police Seek To Identify Hit-And-Run Driver

FRANKLIN, Tenn. – Police have asked the public's help in identifying the driver of an SUV that allegedly struck a motorcyclist in a  hit-and-run collision in Williamson County. 

The incident was reported around 4:45 Tuesday afternoon in Franklin. The 67-year-old motorcyclist was on West Main Street, near Brookwood Ave, when he was struck from behind by a white SUV.

Officials with the Franklin Police Department said the SUV drove away and has not been located.

The driver of the motorcycle, whose identity was not released, suffered a fractured pelvis and bleeding on the brain. As of Sunday, he remained in the hospital and was listed in serious condition.
