Smyrna Man Arrested For Williamson Co. Indecent Exposure

CREATED May 16, 2014
WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Tenn. – A Smyrna man wanted for allegedly exposing himself to a woman and her children in Williamson County has been arrested.

The Williamson County Sheriff's Office said 53-year-old Ronnie Joe Hollingsworth was arrested by Smyrna Police late Thursday night in Rutherford County. He was booked into the Williamson County jail early Friday morning on a charge of indecent exposure.

Hollingsworth was wanted in connection with an incident that happened in the Silver Stream Farms subdivision in Nolensville on Monday. Authorities said he was driving a blue Nissan Pathfinder when he exposed himself to Jennifer Bounds and her children while they were walking in the neighborhood.

She and her children had just bought ice cream from the ice cream truck.

“And then he looked down at his crotch to make sure I noticed he was touching himself and at that point, I just thanked God that my kids were involved in their ice cream and not what that man was doing,” she said.

Being the daughter of two police officers she knew to write down his license plate.

Authorities said he sped out of the subdivision when he saw her call 911 on her cell phone.

Hollingsworth's bond was set at $1,500, and he has a court date of May 29.
