Man Injured In Shooting In Jack In The Box Parking Lot

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – A man was injured in a shooting in a fast food restaurant parking lot in north Nashville on Monday night.

Officials with the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department said the 43-year-old victim told them he was shot in the parking of the Jack In The Box on Hampton Lane, off Trinity Lane, around 9:15 p.m.

The victim told police he was walking across the parking lot when a man approached him and offered to sell him drugs. When the victim refused, the victim said an argument broke out and the other man pulled out a gun and fired two shots.

The victim was grazed in his right shin. Paramedics took him to Skyline Medical Center for treatment. His name was not released.

No arrests have been made.
