Springfield Man Remains In Critical Condition After Shooting

SPRINGFIELD, Tenn. – A Robertson County man was critically injured in an early morning shooting on Sunday.

The shooting was initially reported around 2 a.m. near the El-Alteno Restaurant on Tom Austin Highway in Springfield.

While officers were on the scene, another shooting was reported a few miles away on 15th Avenue.

The victim, 27-year-old Brandon Gardner, was shot multiple times and drove himself to Northcrest Medical Center. Gardner was later taken by LifeFlight to Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, where he was said to be in critical condition.

No arrests have been made in the case.
