Suspect Sought In North Nashville Shooting

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – A suspect has been sought in the aftermath of an early morning shooting in North Nashville.

Officials with the Metro Nashville Police Department said the incident occurred around 1 a.m. Sunday, near the intersection of Monroe Street and Arthur Avenue.

Police said a male victim was standing on the sidewalk when he was struck by a bullet in the leg.

The victim’s name has not yet been released.

A K-9 Officer was brought in to assist in the search for a possible suspect and was able to locate evidence in the case.

Police said the investigation remains ongoing.
