Argument Leads To Stabbing On MTA Bus

NASHVILLE, Tenn. - An argument on a Metropolitan Transit Authority bus led to a stabbing late Tuesday night.

Metro Police said the bus driver pulled over along 4th Avenue and Deaderick Street just moments after leaving Music City Central in downtown Nashville. Two females had gotten into an argument on the bus that escalated, and a man somehow got involved.

One of the women stabbed the man and cut the other woman.

The attacker was taken into custody.

Police said there were 25 to 30 passengers on board the bus, but no one else was hurt.

No names were released.
