Charges Filed Against 2 Men After Single-Car Crash In Warren Co.
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Charges have been filed against a two men involved in a single-car crash in Warren County, Kentucky.
Officials with the Warren County Sheriff’s Office said the vehicle being driven by Daniel Napier was traveling on Scottsville Road in Bowling Green, when he veered off the roadway and struck a pole.
The impact of the collision caused the pole to fall into the parking lot of a nearby auto mart. Two cars were damaged due to the falling light pole.
Investigators said a bag of white pills was found near the crash site.
Napier was cited and charged with operating a motor vehicle while under the influence. William Helson, a passenger in the car, was charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Both suspects were cited due to their injuries. Authorities said additional charges are expected to be filed.
