Active Meth Lab Discovered In West Nashville
NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Metro police said a tip to Crime Stoppers ended with the discovery of an active meth lab in West Nashville.
Police executed a search warrant at 5414 Illinois Avenue Thursday evening. Detectives found the active meth lab inside a detached building at the home.
Illinois Avenue was closed for several hours while detectives along with the Tennessee Meth Task Force and Nashville Fire Department secured the scene.
Two people, 35 year-old Brian Keith Williams and 36 year-old Monica Adkins, were arrested. They were charged with manufacturing meth and were booked into the Metro Jail.
Williams bond was set at $50,000. Adkins’ bond was set at $30,000.
