Food Trucks Kick Off Nashville Street Food Month
NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The Nashville Food Truck Association kicked off Nashville Street Food Month Thursday with a gathering of trucks in downtown Nashville.
Eighteen food trucks were on hand for "Spring into Street Food" on Deaderick Street between 3rd and 5th Avenues. They served up breakfast and lunch for the crowds.
The trucks will continue setting up along Deaderick every other Thursday throughout the summer.
Additional Nashville Street Food Month celebrations will be held Saturday, May 24, at Musicians Corner in Centennial Park, with other multi-truck events to be announced on the NFTA blog. Other events included the Dogwood Festival on May 2-4, East Side Hootenanny on May 24 and 31, and Eat the Street Franklin on May 9.
Some of the food trucks will even offer special menu items throughout the month.
