CREATED Apr 29, 2014
FRANKLIN COUNTY, Tenn. – An autopsy has been completed on a murder victim whose body was found in a car following a high speed chase in Franklin County.

Autopsy results showed 46-year-old Bridgette Haley died from blunt force trauma to the head and upper body.

On Sunday, her body was found in a car being driven by Robert Whipple, who led police on a high speed chase.

Officials were trying to pull the 46-year-old over for allegedly driving drunk, but he ditched the car and ran.

That's when they found Haley dead in the passenger seat.

Whipple was held at the Franklin County jail under a $1-million bond.
