Student Stabbed Near The Mall At Green Hills
NASHVILLE, Tenn. – A 15 year-old girl is accused of stabbing a 16 year-old boy in the arm after school Monday. Both were students at Hillsboro High School.
Metro police detectives said charges are expected against the girl.
The stabbing occurred in a parking lot across the street from the school near The Mall At Green Hills around 2:40 p.m. Monday.
Metro Detectives said the two students got in an argument during an in-school suspension class last week. That disagreement continued Monday. The two met to fight off-campus.
The girl admitted to having a knife and cutting one of the boy’s arms. During the fight detectives said the girl unintentionally cut herself on the side of the head. She was also punched.
The girl is expected to be charged with aggravated assault and carrying a knife on school property.
Both teenagers were taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center. The girl was admitted. The boy was treated and released.
