Lightning Reportedly Starts House Fire In Columbia
COLUMBIA, Tenn. – Lightning reportedly started a fire that damaged a home in Columbia on Monday morning.
The fire broke out around 5:30 a.m. at a home on Witherspoon Road.
Firefighters were able to contain the blaze to the kitchen and another part of the home, but it was not considered a total loss.
No one was hurt, but the American Red Cross was assisting the residents.
