Police Say Woman Had Child In Car During Vehicular Assault
NASHVILLE, Tenn. – A woman was arrested after police said she had her young child in the car when she rammed her vehicle into her ex-boyfriend’s vehicle.
Police arrested 36-year-old Shawnoah Phillips. Her ex-boyfriend told police he was sitting in his car near Green Street and Charles E. Davis Boulevard when he saw her drive toward him.
He attempted to drive away, but she allegedly rammed her car into his while he was stopped at an intersection.
Phillips had her child in the car with her at the time, but no one was hurt.
The victim told police Phillips even got out of her vehicle and started beating on his car window.
Phillips was charged with vehicular assault and child endangerment.
