‘Full Moon Festival’ Brings Big Names, Tattoo Artists To Nashville
NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Tattoo artists, as well as big names in the horror genre, have descended upon the Music City for one weekend.
The Full Moon Festival is said to be the largest tattoo and horror festival in the South. Tattoo artists and legendary horror film stars have converged on the Nashville Convention Center in downtown.
More than 100 tattoo artists took part, as well as some big stars from the horror genre. Scott Wilson, who played Herschel on "The Walking Dead," stopped by Friday. “Lost Boys” star Corey Feldman also signed autographs for fans on Saturday.
"We started at the old Maxwell House hotel then moved over to the Marriott. Originally we had 30 to 40 tattoo vendors and this year there's 78,” said Ben Dixon, one of the festivals organizers.
Activities are scheduled to resume Sunday from 11 a.m. until 6 p.m.
