NASHVILLE, Tenn. – A suspect has been taken into custody in connection with a shooting that injured three people, including a four-year-old boy.

Officials with the Metro Nashville Police Department said 18-year-old Adarius D. Frazier was arrested Saturday morning at his residence on Highway 70 South. Warrants for his arrest were issued Friday night, charging him with attempted criminal homicide and three counts of aggravated assault.

The shooting was reported around 9 p.m. Thursday, at the Edgehill public housing development on 14th Avenue South. Police said the suspect got into an argument with a 53-year-old man who lives in the community.

Frazier allegedly fired multiple shots at the victim, striking him twice.

The man’s four-year-old son was struck in the foot. A 19-year-old man also happened to be walking by at the time and was hit in the leg.

None of the injuries were life-threatening. The child was treated and later released.

Frazier was booked in lieu of $400,000 bond.
