2 Wanted In Connection With Car Fire Outside Murfreesboro Motel

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – Authorities in Murfreesboro have identified two people wanted in connection with a car fire outside a motel.

Investigators said they have obtained warrants for the arrests of 27-year-old Javin Maldonado and Anna Marie Lopez, both of Smyrna.

Maldonado has been accused of setting a 1996 Honda Civic on fire outside a Murfreesboro motel early Monday morning. Lopez was accused of harboring a fugitive.

Authorities believe Maldonado likely has burns to 50 to 70 percent of his body, and is seeking medical attention for his burns.

Their last known address is 701 Enon Springs Road in Smyrna, but police believe they are traveling, possibly in the Oklahoma City area.
