NASHVILLE, Tenn. – After a chilly morning, temperatures were expected to warm up into the 60s by Wednesday afternoon.
A freeze warning was in effect overnight as temperatures fell below freezing for most areas of the mid-state.
A freeze warning will go back into effect from 3 a.m. until 9 a.m. Thursday for the Cumberland Plateau, while the part of the mid-state will be under a frost advisory.
NewsChannel 5 meteorologist Lelan Statom said even warmer weather will move in on Thursday. The next chance for rain will arrive on Good Friday with scattered showers possible.
