1 In Custody, 1 At Large In Clarksville Home Invasion

CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – One man was taken into custody and another remained at large Monday following a violent home invasion robbery in Clarksville last week.

Authorities arrested 21-year-old Michael Connor Sunday on robbery, evading, traffic, and drug charges.

They were still searching for 21-year-old Drevon Green.

Investigators with the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office said the two men broke into an apartment on Hilltop Road in the Cumberland Heights area on Thursday night.

The victim told investigators he heard a noise around 8:30 p.m. and went to investigate. The two men broke through the door, and beat him with a large stick as he attempted run to another room.

The robbers ransacked his bedroom and living room, stealing his wallet, financial documents and his cell phone. They told him to wait 10 minutes before getting up after they left. The victim ran to a next door neighbor's home to call for help.

The victim was taken to the hospital for treatment.

Both men were already on probation for another aggravated robbery in the area.
