Boy Scouts Plan Vigil For Teen Killed In Hit-And-Run
MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – A candlelight vigil has been planned for a Rutherford County teen who was killed in a hit-and-run crash on Interstate 24.
Funeral services for Clifton Braunwalder will be at St. Rose Catholic Parish in Murfreesboro on Tuesday. Visitation will held the day before on Monday, from 4 until 8 p.m.
Clifton's Boy Scout troop has planned a vigil outside the church at the same time as the visitation on Monday.
Braunwalder died Thursday, while changing a tire on his mother's car along the side of Interstate 24 in Smyrna. Tina Wilson, 33, has been accused of hitting the teen and then fleeing the scene. She was charged with vehicular homicide and aggravated assault.
Wilson has been booked into the Wilson County Jail.
