Clarksville Police Search For Hit-And-Run Suspect

CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – Police are investigating a hit-and-run collision that injured a pedestrian in Montgomery County.

Officials with the Clarksville Police Department said the incident occurred Friday night on Tiny Town Road, near Twelve Oaks Boulevard in Clarksville. Dashawna Saundes, 18, was discovered unresponsive by a police officer just before 9:30 p.m.

She was taken by LifeFlight to Vanderbilt University Medical Center where she is expected to recover. 

Police said the vehicle wanted in connection with the incident is a dark-colored van or SUV, with heavy front end damage.
