Clarksville Man Arrested After Police Pursuit
CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – A Montgomery County man has been arrested after police said he evaded arrest during a traffic stop.
Officials with the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office said 33-year-old Kellum Jordan Williams was arrested Friday for evading arrest and multiple traffic violations.
Investigators said a K-9 Deputy ran a scan of Williams' license plate that revealed the owner of the vehicle had outstanding felony warrants out for his arrest. When the officer attempted to pull Williams over, he reportedly fled.
A police chase ensued and later came to an end on West Park Drive in Clarksville.
According to officials, Williams attempted to flee on foot but he was caught a short time later in a ravine.
He was booked into the Montgomery County Jail.
