Father, Sons Charged In Marijuana Conspiracy Case

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Four people, including a father and his two sons, were arrested by Metro Police and charged with plans to distribute several dozen pounds of marijuana.  

Johnny Wayne Tucker, 63, and his sons, 33-year-old Faraji and 30-year-old Jelani were taken into custody as they attempted to deliver 10 pounds of marijuana to a home at the Hampton Chase Apartments on Borowood Drive. Also arrested at the time was 30-year-old Bobby Harvell.    

The investigation led narcotic detectives to Faraji Tucker's home on Algonquin Trail. An additional 15 pounds of marijuana were discovered hidden in his garage freezer.    

The home of Johnny Tucker was also searched and turned up 52 pounds of marijuana in an upstairs bedroom. A total of 77 pounds of marijuana were seized along with $3,366 in cash.    

More charges are expected to be filed against the men.
