2 Men Arrested For Allegedly Vandalizing Churches
MAURY COUNTY, Tenn. – Two men have been arrested for allegedly vandalizing three mid-state churches.
Maury County Sheriff's Deputies arrested two Columbia men Tuesday night. Their ages were 18 and 21, but their names were not immediately released.
Deputies said they broke into the churches, but nothing was taken. Church members said their doors were kicked in and the inside of the churches were trashed.
The three churches include Antioch Church of Christ on Sowell Mill Pike in Columba on Monday; the Methodist Church Banks Chapel in Springfield on Tuesday; and another church in Marshall County on Tuesday.
The 18-year-old man was driving a stolen truck when he was arrested.
