NASHVILLE, Tenn. – A 19-year-old man who was found stabbed on a Madison street late Monday night has died from his injuries.
Officials with the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department said paramedics found Jonathan Hollister lying in the street near an apartment complex in the 200 block of Sealey Drive just after 11 p.m.
Hollister had sustained at least two stab wounds. He was taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center, where he died.
Detectives interviewed witnesses and searched the area near where the victim was found. They said Hollister was stabbed inside his apartment. He then walked away from his apartment building and asked for help before collapsing in the street.
Police did not release a motive or name suspects in the stabbing. The investigation was ongoing.
