$1M Bond Set For Montgomery Co. Attempted Kidnapping Suspect
CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – The man wanted in connection with at least two attempted kidnappings in Montgomery County has been taken into custody. His bond was set at $1 million.
Officials with the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office said 25-year-old Garon Brown, of Indian Mound, Tennessee, was arrested Friday after a warrant was issued for his arrest.
Brown was previously arrested on March 20 after a woman identified him as the suspect who tried to kidnap her at a Shell Station on Wilma Rudolph Boulevard in Clarksville. He was arrested the next day at the same gas station and was later booked into the Montgomery County Jail.
On Wednesday, Brown was released on bond.
After his release, another victim reportedly came forward and told police that Brown also tried to kidnap her on March 20 in Woodlawn.
Police said the second victim knew Brown and was able to positively identify him.
