Former Bank Employee Charged With Theft
NASHVILLE, Tenn. – A woman has been charged with theft for allegedly stealing money from the bank where she was employed.
Jess Jenkins, age 21, was arrested Thursday after an internal investigation by Fifth Third Bank discovered the missing money.
According to the affidavit, Jess Jenkins took more than $1,600 from the Old Hickory Boulevard location on four different occasions, during her employment from December 17 and January 14.
Jenkins allegedly admitted to taking the money, and signed a written confession.
Jenkins was booked into the Metro Jail on $2,500 bond.
