2 Arrested In Prostitution Bust At Motel
NASHVILLE, Tenn. –A woman who was busted for prostitution in Nashville told police the man she was arrested with took all her money in exchange for food and a place to stay.
An affidavit said the woman, 29-year-old Christina Pohl, agreed to meet an undercover officer inside a room at the Nashville Airport Inn & Suites on Atrium Way. She allegedly agreed to have sex with him for $260.
When police moved in to arrest her, they found 35-year-old Cedric Dixon hiding in a closet. He told police he was there to protect Pohl.
Pohl later told officers that Dixon gets all of her money in exchange for food and a place to stay. The two travel between Little Rock, Arkansas, and Nashville and allegedly get their customers online.
Police also found marijuana and crack cocaine inside the room where the pair they were staying. They confiscated several hundred dollars, a computer, and a cell phone.
Pohl was charged with prostitution and drug charges. Dixon was charged with promoting prostitution and drug offenses. He was also charged with being a fugitive, but it was unclear where or why he was wanted.
