CREATED Mar 18, 2014

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Two people have been arrested in connection with a murder that occurred last summer.

Officials Metro Nashville Police Department said 25-year-old Delvin Samuels is facing a First Degree Murder charge for the shooting death of Tyrone Reece. He was taken into custody in the Hermitage area Monday night.

Reece was shot and killed in June 2013 at the James Cayce public housing development, located in the 700 block of South 7th Street in East Nashville.

Investigators believe Samuels shot Reece in retaliation for a separate incident.

Police said the suspect's girlfriend, 26-year-old Dianna Hatfield, was taken into custody earlier after a Davidson County Grand Jury indicted her with accessory after the fact.
