Teen Pleads Guilty To Reckless Homicide In Friend's Shooting Death
NASHVILLE, Tenn. - A teen who accidentally shot and killed a friend has pleaded guilty to reckless homicide.
As part of the plea, the District Attorney's Office said 17-year old Kaemon Robinson will remain in DCS custody until he is 19-years old.
On the night of January 28, police said Robinson was playing with a pistol inside an apartment on Burning Tree Drive when it discharged, striking 15-year-old Kevin Barbee in the face.
Barbee was taken to Summit Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.
Robinson fled the scene following the shooting, but later turned himself in.
