Ohio Police Say Tennessee Fugitive Flees Stop
CINCINNATI (AP/NewsChannel 5) - Authorities in southwest Ohio are seeking a Tennessee fugitive they said got away from a traffic stop.
The Hamilton County (Ohio) sheriff's office said 25-year-old Terrance D. Brown is wanted in connection with a slaying and robbery in the Nashville area. Police said he was a passenger in a car stopped early Monday morning for a traffic violation on State Route 562 in the Cincinnati area.
Police said he fled on foot into a wooded area along Interstate 71. A search with helicopter and K-9 units has been unsuccessful. Police say Brown should be considered armed and dangerous.
Two other people in the vehicle were released.
Brown is wanted for the September 8, 2012, shooting death of Dennis Prutianov on Moss Road. The 26-year-old was fatally wounded when shots were fired into his home.
Brown, along with 23-year-old Terrance Clark and 20-year-old Carlee Michelle Nease, were later identified as the suspects in the shooting.
Clark and Nease were booked on murder charges last year.
