Clarksville Police Want To Identify Scammers

CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. - Police in Clarksville need help identifying two people accused of scamming cashiers out of money.

Clarksville Police said they have struck at least three times in the past 30 days in the Wilma Rudolph Boulevard area.

The scammers allegedly pick up an item and take it to the register to pay for it. They hand the cashier a $100 bill, but when the cashier is counting out change they either take it back or ask for it back. Then they convince the cashier that they did not get the money back.
