Barn Destroyed By Fire In Williamson County
WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Tenn. – A barn in Williamson County was destroyed by a fire on Wednesday morning.
Firefighters were called out to battle the blaze in the 3000 block Hillsboro Road just before 11 a.m. There were highly flammable chemicals inside the barn, which caused a Hazmat situation.
The fire was knocked down, but the barn was a total loss.
No injuries were reported.
Fire officials said the fire could have been started by a heat lamp used to keep pets or a chicken coop inside the barn warm due to the cold temperatures.
The exact cause remained under investigation.
