Franklin Woman Allegedly Refuses To Stop At DUI Checkpoint
FRANKLIN, Tenn. – A Franklin woman was arrested after she allegedly refused to stop at a DUI checkpoint on Friday night.
Franklin Police said 57-year-old Pamela Stevens initially slowed down for the checkpoint set up on Mack Hatcher at Donelson Creek around 10:40 p.m., but then sped through it.
She then allegedly drove about a half mile with an officer behind her with lights and siren activated before pulling over on Mack Hatcher near Columbia Avenue. Officers determined that Stevens was impaired, and arrested her.
Stevens was charged with DUI and violation of the implied consent law, and was released on $1,500 bond.
