Water Main Break Blocks Road In Forest Hills
FOREST HILLS, Tenn. – A water main break sent water shooting into the air for a few hours on Friday morning.
The 6-inch break occurred just before 1:30 a.m. on Timothy Drive in the Forest Hills area. Water pressure sent water spraying about 4 feet in the air, and later grew to 10 feet, according to Metro Police.
Metro Water said there was a miscommunication between their department and police, but they eventually responded and got the break under control around 4:30 a.m.
Metro Police blocked the roadway while the break was being repaired.
