Police: Man Shot By Sister's Boyfriend During Domestic Dispute
NASHVILLE, Tenn. – A brother was shot by his sister's boyfriend after a domestic dispute turned violent overnight.
Police said a woman and her brother went to her boyfriend's apartment on University Court around 3 a.m. Wednesday. The woman brought a knife as she knew there would be trouble, according to police.
She and her boyfriend got into an argument, and he hit her in the face, police said.
Her brother stepped into help, and the boyfriend allegedly shot him twice during a fight.
The brother was taken to General Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The boyfriend fled the scene prior to police arrival. Police have issued a warrant for his arrest.
No identities were released.
