Survivors Of Kentucky House Fire Make 'Remarkable Recovery'

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The two survivors of a devastating house fire in Greenville, Kentucky, last month that killed eight siblings and their mother are making a remarkable recovery at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.
In a video posted on the Facebook page of the Cavalry Baptist Church in Central City, which they attend, 11-year-old Kylie Watson thanks her friends and family for their support online.
Another photo released by the church shows her and her father Chad Watson together, smiling for their supporters.
Their pastor visited them Wednesday, and he said even though both Chad and Kylie have good days and bad, Wednesday, Kylie was in particularly good spirits.
"Today she's had a remarkable day," said Pastor Tim Burden. "She started acting a little silly -- spinning around on a chair, in a lighter spirit. It was really refreshing to see her respond that way."
Kylie will soon have skin graft surgery on her arm, but doctors said both Chad and Kylie will make a full recovery and could leave the hospital within the next two weeks.
