Two Injured In Sylvan Street Shooting
NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Two people were injured in a shooting Sunday in Nashville.
Officials with the Metro Nashville Police Department said the shooting occurred just after 3 p.m. in the 500 block of Sylvan Street in Nashville.
Police said a male and female victim were both shot during an altercation between two groups of people.
The female victim was transported by ambulance to Vanderbilt University Medical Center and the male victim was taken to TriStar Skyline Medical Center. Police said neither of their injuries are life-threatening.
Investigators said two men, ages 17 and 30, have been detained for questioning.
There was no other information immediately available.
