PERRY COUNTY, Tenn. – Fire seriously damaged a lumber yard in Perry County on Friday morning.
Officials said the blaze broke out around 3:35 a.m. at Graham Lumber Company at 1958 U.S. 412.
Firefighters were able to contain the fire, but part of a building collapsed. Firefighters remained on scene putting out hot spots Friday morning.
No one was injured.
The cause of the fire remained under investigation.
The Linden facility of Graham Lumber Company is a subsidiary of American Hardwood Industries. They also have facilities of in Selmer, Tennessee, and Fulton, Mississippi.
It consists of sawmills, dry kilns and concentration yards. Graham Lumber Company produces Appalachian hardwood lumber and specializes in high quality White Oak and Red Oak.
