Man Charged In Connection With Robbery, Shooting
NASHVILLE, Tenn. – A man wanted in connection with a home invasion robbery has been arrested in connection with Friday night's shooting of man.
Metro Police had been searching for 21-year-old Dion Marquese Lollar in connection with the December 6, 2013, home invasion in which a 46-year-old woman was held at gunpoint while various items were taken, including cash, a purse, a television and her car.
Lollar was arrested following a shooting Friday night on Scott Valley Drive that left the victim with wounds to his legs.
The 23-year-old victim told police he went to meet with a man about buying a television that had been advertised on the Internet. As he entered the home, a man later identified as Lollar locked the door, pulled a gun and demanded his belongings.
Shots were fired and the victim fled to a vehicle being driven by a friend. They reported the shooting as they pulled up to THP troopers conducting a checkpoint on Bell Road.
Officers responded and came across Lollar, who matched the description of the gunman provided by the victim. Lollar claimed to be Jamye Jackson. He was detained for investigation and was later identified by Tumach from a photo lineup as the shooter.
Lollar was charged with especially aggravated robbery for Friday night's shooting, and with aggravated robbery in the home invasion.
Lollar was held in lieu of $100,000 bond.
