Victim With Multiple Gunshot Wounds Shows Up At THP Checkpoint
NASHVILLE, Tenn. – A victim with multiple gunshot wounds showed up at a checkpoint being conducted in Davidson County by the Tennessee Highway Patrol.
THP Officials said the incident happened at 7 p.m. Friday during a safety belt enforcement checkpoint on Bell Road at Priest Woods.
According to troopers said a black male drove up to the checkpoint at which time a white male passenger opened the passenger door yelling the he had been shot three times in the leg.
The identity of the victim was not immediately known. He was transported to Vanderbilt University Medical Center where officials said he was treated for non-life threatening injuries.
Officials with the Metro Nashville Police Department said two subjects have been taken into custody for questioning.
