Son Of Tullahoma Police Chief Arrested On Drug Charge
TULLAHOMA, Tenn. – The son of the chief of the Tullahoma Police Department has been arrested on a drug charge.
Jonathan Paul Blackwell was arrested Tuesday night by the Coffee County Sheriff's Office after a sealed indictment was issued for the "sale/delivery/manufacturing marijuana" in the Coffee County area.
Officials said deputies caught Blackwell selling marijuana from his residence, where he lives with his father, as well as other locations.
Blackwell was booked into the Coffee County Jail, and released on $25,000 bond.
Paul Blackwell has served as Police Chief in Tullahoma since June 2007, and has been in law enforcement since 1982. Blackwell and his family, wife Lenore and children Meghan and Jonathan, have lived in Tullahoma since 1992, according to his bio on Tullahoma's website.
