Police Aim To Identify Mapco Armed Robbery Suspect

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Police have asked the public's help in identifying a suspect who they said robbed a Mapco convenience store at gunpoint.

Officials with the Metro Nashville Police Department said the robbery occurred on January 14 at the Mapco located on Tusculum Road in Nashville.

Police said the suspect entered the store at 10:30 p.m. and demanded money at gunpoint. They said he took the cash and fled the scene on foot.

The suspect has been described as a black male in his late teens or early 20s. Investigators said he was seen wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt with red tennis shoes.
