Woman Allegedly Left Dog In Car For Hours Without Food Or Water
NASHVILLE, Tenn. – A woman was charged with animal cruelty for allegedly leaving her dog inside a car for hours overnight.
According to an affidavit, 47-year-old Leslie Sneed had her dog with her when she went out drinking. She took a cab home, but couldn't take the dog with her so she left it in her car.
Someone noticed the dog had been in the car for several hours, and called police.
Sneed went back the next day to get it, and police were waiting for her to make the arrest.
According to police, the dog was left in the car for more than 11 hours without food or water. The dog was not hurt.
Sneed was charged with animal cruelty, and later released on $1,000 bond.
