64 Arrested In DeKalb County Undercover Drug Operation
DEKALB COUNTY, Tenn. – Sixty-four people have been arrested after a three month undercover drug investigation in DeKalb County.
Officials with the DeKalb County Sheriff's Office issued the indictments on Monday. They said the suspects sold drugs to undercover officers on 112 different occasions.
Sheriff's officials said Morphine, Opana, Roxycodone, Percocet, Hydocodone, Adderall, Valium, Xanax, Subutex, Ecstasy, Crack Cocaine, and Marijuana were among the drugs sold to the undercover agents. They said the majority of the drugs purchased were prescription pain killers.
Investigators said some of the controlled buys were conducted in drug free zones, which could increase the charges and penalties for many of the suspects.
The suspects' identities were not immediately available.
