ANTIOCH, Tenn. – A new subdivision in Antioch has offered a new option to its residents who do not want to buy a home.

Cottages at Mount View looks like your average new subdivision with a club house, fitness center and swimming pool. Property manager Peggy McAleer said it is brand new in more ways than one.

"It's an exciting new concept to where you can have your own space but not the headaches," she said.

The new development features single and double level three bedroom homes, and McAleer said all 253 of them will be for rent. A 14-hundred square foot home costs $1345 per month and $1295 rent for a 13-hundred square foot home.

"It will be run like you do an apartment community for instance we do all the maintenance inside and outside," she said. "We do all the yard work."

News of the place has been spreading fast and has been appealing to potential residents who want the comforts of a house without owning it. McAleer said her phone begins ringing at 7a.m. for a reason.

Just like an apartment all the appliances have been included. McAleer said the first three homes will be ready by late February bringing something new and different to an area ready for a change.

"It's a great location people like this location," she said. "Antioch is coming back."

The entire project will be finished in 2016. Every week over the next two years, three additional homes will be completed. For more information call 615-224-8401.
