Packers work their way back into playoffs talk

'Not so fast;' say the Green Bay Packers. Just when everyone had written off their playoff chances, they're a half game out of first, thanks to their 22-21 win over the Falcons and the Lions being, the Lions.
A large part of the credit for Green Bay's victory has to go to the defense. Shutting out a Falcon offense that included the likes of Matt Ryan, Roddy White, Tony Gonzales and Stephen Jackson, in the second half, wasn't just huge, it was necessary.
With five tackles, one for a loss, a batted down pass and a fumble recovery, I thought Johnny Jolly had a monster game up front.
In the back end, how 'bout the play of Jarrett Bush. Talk about being a pro. He never knows when he's going to play from scrimmage, but when his number is called, he's always ready. His break up of a pass to Gonzales and his interception sealed the Falcons fate.
The Packers seemed to have recaptured whatever was missing defensively over the previous five games. Allowed 241 yards rushing and 5-6 a carry against the Lions. Against Atlanta, 83 and 3-6.
Finally, the arrow is back pointing in the right direction.
