Packers practice squad complete after Monday signings

CREATED Sep. 1, 2013 - UPDATED: Sep. 2, 2013

The Green Bay Packers have added the maximum players to their practice squad after a busy Sunday on the waiver wire.

The team announced Monday morning that they re-signed four camp players:
- Wide receiver Charles Johnson
- Cornerback James Nixon
- Tight end Jake Stoneburner
- Wide receiver Myles White

They then announced Monday that they added guard Bryan Collins and quarterback Scott Tolzien. They completed the practice squad with tackle Aaron Adams and running back Michael Hill.

There was an initial report that the Packers would add Tolzien, the former Badgers and 49ers QB, to their roster.

Collins comes from the Texans camp, playing two preseason games there. He attended SMU, the same school as free agent defensive back Chris Banjo.

Adams spent the 2013 preseason with the Cleveland Browns after playing last year at Eastern Kentucky.

Hill, another rookie, comes from Missouri Western and played all four preseason games with the San Diego Chargers.
